Also, the vast majority of these apples are from the internationally famous cultivars which have the perfect characteristic and qualities for fresh consumption. For example, more than 2.2 million tons of the apples produced within Iran are from the international famous Red and Golden Delicious cultivars which are one of the best choices for fresh eating.

Packaging and preparing apples
When trading fruits and vegetables over long distance, there is always the need to properly package and prepare them for their journey. But still, the packaging must be strong enough to protect the fruit from physical harm during all the stages of transportation.
